Aussie Millions 2019 Main Event Sets New Attendance Record

The 2019 Aussie Millions Main Event has yet again set a new attendance record, attracting 822 players to build a prize pool of over AUD $8.2 Million. It exceeded last year’s turnout which saw 800 players, beating a decade-old record.

Across three starting flights that kicked off on January 27, the Main Event drew some of the world’s best poker players including WSOP Main Event winner Joe Hachem, Global Poker Index Player of the Year Alex Foxen, PCA 2018 Winner Maria Lampropulos, Female GPI Player of the Year Kristen Bicknell, PSPC Final Tablist Farid Jattin, PokerStars Ambassadors Randy Lew and Celina Lin and many others.

Day 3 is currently underway and the top 88 players are assured to take home a min-cash of AUD $15,600, with the winner taking home AUD $1,850,000.

Day 3, Day 4 and the Final Table will be live-streamed on Jason Somerville’s Twitch channel Run It Up.

The Final Table will be played on Sunday, February 3.
