Triton SRH Series Montenegro 2019 Pays Out More Than $42 Million

The world’s biggest high stakes tournament series, Triton SRH Series has come to an end after two weeks of intense action at the very beautiful Maestral Resort & Casino in Budva, Montenegro.

This year’s Triton SRH Montenegro series was the most ambitious Triton Poker Series to date as it featured 12 events—the most ever. Also, for the first time, Triton Series featured Pot Limit Omaha, Turbo events as well as Main Events for both No Limit Hold’em and the emerging game Short Deck Poker.

Originally scheduled to run 10 events, the organizers went on to add two more events following a huge turnout expanding the schedule to a total of 12 events.

Across 12 events, Triton amassed a prize pool of over $42 million, attracting close to 700 entries, and crowning in 11 champions from 12 events.

American poker pro Steve O’Dwyer was the first to win the title for over $400,000. Another US pro Bryn Kenney took down two events for a combined prize of over $4 million.

Ben Lamb, Mikita Badziakouski, John Juanda and Daniel “Jungleman” Cates were among the prominent poker players to be crowned as the winners.

The next Triton SRH series will be held in July, fourth stop in September and finally the fifth stop of 2019 in November. Triton is also set to host the biggest buy-in in poker history.
