The European Poker Tour is coming back to London after an eight-year hiatus, and PokerStars seems intent on making the event one to remember. The 2022 edition of EPT London will take place October 18 – 28, and, among other things, players will have a chance to win two PSPC Platinum Passes worth $30,000 each.

One of these passes will be up for grabs in a Mystery Bounty, marking the first time the operator will give a highly coveted PokerStars Platinum Pass away in this fashion.

Mystery Bounty tournaments are a new format where players get to draw envelopes after eliminating players to claim their bounty. In this particular event, one envelope will contain the $30,000 Platinum Pass, so the tournament will likely generate quite a bit of interest.

Online qualifiers for EPT London and UKIPT will have another shot at a Platinum Pass via a live all-in shootout on October 22.

Of course, there will be plenty of quality tournament action over the ten days, with the £5,300 EPT Main Event and £1,100 UKIPT Main Event leading the way. The £440 UKIPT Mystery Bounty Cup is another exciting and affordable event taking place on October 20 – 21, and that one could create quite a bit of buzz.

The freshest face in the online poker world, WPT Global has launched its very first MTT series, naming it the Summer Festival. The series will host 50 events in total, spanning July 20 – August 22, with the big $1 For $1 Million tournament stealing the spotlight.

As the name suggests, the event will feature a massive $1,000,000 prize pool while only requiring a mere $1 buy-in, promising loads of great value for the players.

Starting flights have kicked off already and will be taking place twice every Wednesday and Sunday for the next four weeks, with 13% of the field moving on to final Day 2, taking place on August 22. As for the $1-for-$1-Million tournament, you can take multiple shots at Day 1, even after you qualify. Players who manage to earn multiple seats will get to carry over their biggest accumulated stack to Day 2.
