Neymar Jr. Playing at Home Turf at PokerStars EPT Paris

The Brazilian superstar was in the crowd for the opening event of the inaugural EPT Paris by PokerStars.

Neymar Jr, one of the greatest names in football, has been spotted at PokerStars EPT Paris. The Paris Saint Germain star joined the action on the green felt in the €10k Mystery Bounty event and even managed to survive the first day of play.

Poker has long been one of Neymar’s passions, and he is currently one of cultural ambassadors for PokerStars. So, it comes as no surprise that he made an appearance at an event taking place at his current residence, the city of Pairs.

This is the very first EPT to take place in the City of Light, and the presence of one of the most iconic footballers in the crowd will only help make it that much more memorable.

Neymar was seemingly in a great mood to play poker despite PSG not doing so well recently. In fact, just a couple of days prior, they lost a home Champions League game to Bayern Munich, so the Brazil superstar could certainly do with some good run in the rematch on March 8.

PokerStars EPT Heads to Paris for the First Time Ever

PokerStars will be hosting the first European Poker Tour event in Paris this February, alongside the France Poker Series for those with smaller bankrolls.

It’s hard to imagine that one of the most iconic poker tours has never set foot in the capital of France, but that’s simply the fact. Luckily for all the poker fans in Paris and across Europe, that injustice is about to be rectified as PokerStars is headed to the City of Love for the first-ever edition of the European Poker Tour.

EPT Paris will take place Feb 15 — 26, with the €5300 Main Event running Feb 20 — 26. PokerStars has also prepared something for those with smaller bankrolls, as the France Poker Series will run concurrently and feature much more affordable buy-ins.

As for the first-ever European Poker Tour event in Paris, in addition to the Main Event, there will also be a couple of high-roller tournaments, as well as a mystery bounty event, so there will be plenty of opportunity to fight for prestigious trophies and big prizes.
